Long time member of the Highland dance
community, Sheila Brownlee spent years working with her daughter, champion
dancer, Bree Erin Brownlee.
During Bree's dance career, Sheila perfected the art
of hand sewing many of the dance costumes needed for a top level competitive
Highland dancer.
Sheila now is sharing her love of Highland and her sewing
talents with you, through her new line - Queen of Scots Dance Costumes.
Beginning with Bree
in the 90's, and then with her dancers whom she teaches at
the Queen of Scots Dance Academy with Bree, and now onto you! Enjoy our
creations and

 The
design of our Aboyne costumes are unique to the QSDC! Our vests, with
scalloped bottom, are made in one piece with the lacing inset into the front,
the sleeves built into the bodice and a zipper up the back for ease in
dressing. Each skirt is made of 100%
medium-weight worsted wool
with a velcro waistband and standard 2"
hem. The wool plaid includes and elastic waist so all you have to do is step
in, pin it up to the vest and you're ready to go! A slip and simple, matching
broach is also included in the complete outfit.
