MORNING COMPETITION: PRIMARY, BEGINNER & NOVICE DANCERS

 

8:30am - Building opens to morning & all-day attendees

if you arrive to the facility prior to 8:30am, please do not enter the building early,

we are not able to allow admittance early due to our insurance policy

8:45-9:15am - Morning competition registration

​

9:30am - Morning competition begins

Dancing will begin with Primary Pas de Basques, followed by Beginner & Novice Lilt,

then Primary Pas de Basques and High Cuts.

~ 12:30pm - Morning competition & awards scheduled to be concluded

 

EARLY AFTERNOON COMPETITION: MADELEINE TOLONEN MEMORIAL CHOREOGRAPHY

8:45-9:15am or 11:45am-12:15pm - Choreography competition registration

~12:30pm - Choreography competition begins

Competition will take place immediately following the conclusion of the morning awards,

starting with Premier Solo Choreographies

​

~ 1:30PM - Choreography competition & awards scheduled to be concluded

 

Choreography dancers, please do not change for the afternoon competition until after choreography awards have been completed

LATE AFTERNOON: INTERMEDIATE & PREMIER

12:45-1:15pm - Afternoon competition registration

~1:30pm - Afternoon competition begins

Competition will take place immediately following the conclusion of the choreography awards, starting with the Hornpipe

 

~ 4:30pm - Afternoon competition & awards scheduled to be concluded

 

Afternoon dancers – please note, that the music we will be playing for the Intermediate & Premier competition will be from Peter Purvis Lilt & Lilt II, except for the Lilt dance itself as the intro is too challenging to count! We also are working on having the 4-step hornpipe music slowed down, as almost all 4-step hornpipe recordings are fast for Premier dancers.
